ABOUT ALBERT KEEVER MUSIC

Albert Keever is the songwriter, vocalist, and primary acoustic guitar player.Growing up in the Seattle area, He received his first guitar on his 12 th birthday and began writing songs at age 14. It was around this same time he got involved with a high school youth ministry and became a Christian.Since those days in the late 1990’s the Lord has led Albert and his music through many journeys high and low. In 2004, while living in Santa Barbara, he released his first album with 10 original songs. He studied production and songwriting at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA from 2006-2010. He has led worship and performed his original music at colleges and churches across the country.

Currently he lives in Long Island where he continues to write and perform. His songs are reflections from personal experience, intended to showcase God’s involvement in his life, often in contrast to his own shortcomings.He hopes his music will inspire both believers and non-believers to persevere in the pursuit truth.

Justin Schornstein is the bassist and primary producer on the album. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Justin has performed and/or recorded with Grammy award-winning artists Lalah Hathaway, Ledisi, Paula Cole, Charlie Puth, and Don Was, and jazz luminaries David Fiuczynski, Jojo Mayer, Kenwood Dennard, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Nona Hendryx, and Peter Eldridge. Justin also owns and operates Christian record label Recovery. In addition to his work in the music industry, Justin’s music for film has been featured internationally and in major venues like the Tribeca Film Festival. Justin owns the commercial scoring company Hidden Temple, producing work for clients such as Major League Baseball and Def Jam Records. (Justin on IMDB)

Ben Marino is the drummer and percussionist on the album. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Ben has contributed to live performances and recordings with: Blood Orange, Carly Rae Jepsen, Nelly Furtado, Empress Of, Jimmy Abegg, and forBrothers, among many others. In addition, he has shared the platform in the Contemporary Christian Music genre with artists Martin Smith (Delirious), Reuben Morgan, Brooke Fraser, Nigel Hendroff, Hillsong Worship, Hillsong Kids, and Israel Houghton through his involvement with Hillsong (Church) NYC. He is currently in charge of overseeing the musician’s team at Hillsong NYC’s Montclair, NJ campus. Ben has traveled to over 45 different countries and 5 continents working on Seabourn Luxury Cruise Ships, as well as being the on-stage drummer for Green Day’s American Idiot The Broadway Musical, 3rd National Tour. His original project, forBrothers, recently released it’s 2nd album entitled “Fool {live and acoustic}”. The quartet has been described as a modern blend of Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young vocals with a touch of over-driven guitar and melodic bass lines; or quite simply put,“folk on steroids.” When not touring, Ben resides in the NJ/NYC area performing, recording, teaching, and producing music.
